After a long wait, the bronze is here! An astonishing watch with a great story and interesting future ahead of it.
The first 4 photos were taken around 3 weeks ago, while the last one was taken today. I think the transformation has definitely started. (apologies for photo quality!)

Exciting - even though I'm not a diver, diving watches have a special place in my heart. This one with its bronze case was in my view the most exciting ref among the launches at SIHH 2014. I simply love the idea of a personalized patina that develops due to usage conditions and wear patterns.
Please continue to add pictures every quarter or so.

I'm no diver either myself, (sorry purists), so this specimen will be going nowhere near water any time soon. Will be interesting to see how the wear compares with those who do venture into the murky depths!

Cool! ... And I definately see one major difference between your watch and mine (which has been worn "in murky depths" :-)
If you look at the patina developing on your watch, it's an overall smooth transition where if you compare it to mine (shown here - Help my Watch is Rusting, where one can see the patina developing is much more blotchy!
I love this effect - both smooth all over patina or the rough sea water induced blotches.
Oh wow Mark, that difference is unbelievable, and in such a short space of time! Yours almost looks like it could have been salvaged as a piece of treasure from a sunken ship-wreck! :) Truly nautical. Amazing.
