Robin Hi, I dont own the new IW3290....
but, I do have a number of Aquatimers in my collection ranging from a vintage Ref. 816 through to a DeepII. Fromn the current series of AT's (same as the 3290, I own this one New Aquatimer
As an avid scuba diver and diving instructor, I always dive with and rely on my AT for the ultimate backup and safety tool. If the reliability Ive experienced over the last years is evident in the new series (and so far I have no reason to doubt this)...then you cant go wrong with the IW3290.
Last but not least Ive had the watch on my wrist at SIHH when it was just released, and it's a beauty. Go ahead - you wont be sorry.
thanks a lot mark for your reply.
your bronze at looks amazing, interesting to see how the patina will develop!
i just ordered the 3290 black dial on rubber;) so stoked!
i had a 3538 in the past and loved it,only thing was that i got bored of was the yellow.this new at line suits my wishlist perfect: iwc styling, iwc quality, less colourful then previous at lines and elegant rugged.
can't wait to post some pictures here while taking it out in the ocean as i am an avid surfer.
i love the fact that the at's have rubber straps and arelow profile to the general public.the metal bracelet=scratch magnet and the rollie factor of my sub-no date i don't like so much anymore.
stay tuned,
greets,
robin
Hi All,
I'm at the same situation. Unfortunately, there is not that many reviews available regarding the 3290-01.
Any experienced owner here?
I want a different looking diver (all submariner type out there is kind of boring)
Thanks for any recommendation.
