    Hi guys,

what's your opinion between these two models?
Apart from size and price, do you have any suggestions-comments?
Which cal is better in terms of durability services etc..

    Thank you in advance

    Hi Dimitris!

So you're hunting for a fliegerchrono. Calibres between the models you mention are quite similar, there's a big difference given by the rattrappante module, this is a fascinating story itself, the name of the watchmaker who created it almost a legend right now.

Here's an interesting link to an interview our Michael had with him:

Richard Habring interviewed by Michael Friedberg

I'm not saying one watch is better than the other, I'm simply amazed by the story behind the rattrappante solution.

I love this part and the pic. talk about exacting standards and pioneering standards...

I recently acquired the 379901, and opted for it over the 378901 simply because of the aesthetic quality of the third push button - all my timepieces are either in a precious metal or have what I feel a more unique button/lug/casing design as opposed to the standard chronograph push buttons. I don't have any occasion to use the rattrapante at all given my line of work (sitting in any office), but I could not resist the design.

Both cermaic dopplechrono (did I use it correctly?) are wonderful - I love the tri-date and the red/white juxta-positioning on the dial. either way I don't think u will go wrong.
