IWC and Paris

i'm just back from a long weekend in paris. i went over to see the breguet exhibition in the louvre. to be honest it wasn't very well executed at all - typical swatch - however the marie antoinette is awesome.... blah blah...
back on topic. i was really surprised at the lack of IWC "awareness" in paris. we stayed at the place de vendome which is famous for it's watch and jewellery brands. every high end brand was there but no IWC apart from in 2 independent jewellers.
any reason IWC hasn't attacked paris?
i did see a beautiful yellow gold regulatuer though.
anyhow good to be back and catching up on everyones posts.

you just didn't check all the right places...

Paris is loaded with IWC dealers, but they're not at the boutiques right next to the Place Vendome. In fact, there's so many that it's often possible to find a model that is difficult to find in some other major cities.

I can't endorse dealers here, since we're non-commercial, but there are three pages of Paris dealer listings under "Distribution". They include the largest Left Bank dealer (on the Blvd. St. Germain), two excellent dealers right around the corner from the Place Vendome (one in the Rue St. Honore --perhaps the fanciest shopping street, and another on the Rue de la Paix right near the Tuileries). Also even the two largest department stores carry IWC --Galleries Lafayette on the Right Bank and Bon Marche on the Left.

I believe that there are more IWC dealers in Paris than London --I suspect you're going to need to take a trip back!

Perhaps something nice to find in the App Store via IWC ?
