IWC Annual Edition 2011/12

I really appreciate the IWC Annual Edition (Catalog) that are published each year. I just got the latest one from Claire Kelly at IWC Australia. This years edition, which has a slight redesign, is probably the best ever.

I been collecting these for the last 10 years and they are a great reference tool. I finally bought my IWC XVI from Watches of Switzerland in Melbourne last year so I have a watch to go with the catalog.

I am looking forward to the next edition which will have the new pilots watches in it.

I am wondering when the official year of the Portofino ends and the year of the Pilots starts, is it when the new catalogue is issued?

David --the "model years" are based on calendar years. This, now, is the year of the Pilot's watches.

It's just that the catalogues don't get finished usually until late Spring.
