/p<Hi, I've an Aquatimer which works perfectly and which I love to bits however its been almost 3 yrs after owning it and I notice the IWC box that came together with it is falling apart. >/p<

/p<In fact a sticky layer is starting to appear on the surface and its really heart-rendering. May I ask is this normal or is there anything I can do for it? Any advice will be greatly appreciated. >/p<

It's difficult for us to diagnose such issues electronically. Boxes usually don't fall apart sponmtaneously, and it may be related to storage conditions, etc. But replacements often can be ordered relatively inexpensively.

    Good luck,
    Michael

    Hi Michael,

Thank you for the reply. mmm.. Yup, I've just checked with IWC (SIngapore), I'm able to purchase a replacement box for SGD$180. Now considering it as (quoting you), a box shouldn't just fall apart.

I had a similar problem with the box for my Split Minute. The interior material is cracked and flaking. Glad to know I'm not the one "cracked and flaking", it's truly a problem.

I'll take it to an AD for help.

    Thanks again.

    Rob
