Hi guys,
My first post here. I recently purchased an IWC XV classic (black dial) without box, paperwork etc. When I compared it to the XV classic (white dial) and the 3741 both of which I also own and know to be authentic, the thickness of the new XV (black) when viewed from the side seems way too thin compared to the ones I already own. Did IWC at some point in production used case backs with different thickness? The letters on the caseback of the XV (black)seem also slightly larger and thicker.
There are some other discrepancies as well. The standard IWC buckle on the black one is noticeably larger and the dial says "T SWISS MADE T" instead of "SWISS MADE"
Any insight would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
John
