After a meet up with fellow WIS in Boston Ma, I was lucky enough to handle the Aquatimer 2000 & Pilot Chronograph, and immediately it clicked why folks love IWC watches. About a month later, I picked up a Mark XVII and 'connected' with the watch which is a BIG deal for this 'flipper' of Omega, Tudor, Tag Heuer, and Breitling to name a few. I found the build quality, design details, and most important fit on the wrist was spot on. Also found out IWC had their start thanks to a man from Boston...never knew that!

Completely agree about the connection you feel with your first IWC. Similar to you I have flipped a few watches over the past few years, but the quality and design of an IWC is hard to take off your wrist. I'm considering going after the Mark XVIII, obviously a very similar watch. Also great pictures!!
