IWC Cousteau Divers Tribute to Claypso Original Wood

Hi all,

I have become a happy owner of my dream watch, IWC Cousteau Divers Tribute to Claypso Original Wood, the 1.st limited edition (2500pcs).

I received a guarantee card, box and papers. BUT! I have read that this timepiece is very very well made as a fake watch. There are only a few slightly noticable differences as some line spacing between 10 and 15 in the inner bezel and the second thing is that it is not so luminous as original. My watch is also not so luminous but I assume that it is caused by 10 years since the model has been produced.

But anyway can you please check the pics and tell me to be sure what is your oppinion about authenticity?

Your Cousteau Diver looks Good from what I can tell from your pics. Although much higher resolution pics are required with clearer details. The fakes I have seen of this watch have poor finish between the sapphire crystal that is over the wood. The edges where it meets the case are not good. Also the gaps between the wood and calypso model are uneven. The metal calypso model is thicker and lacks fine detail.

I have the Cousteau Divers Chrono myself and yours looks OK to me.
