IWC should have them for sale, but I suggest you call or have a dealer quickly check. Unfortunately, being non-commercial we can't have "wanted to buy" items here.
Good luck.
Hello
I am new to this forum so be gentle.
After some late night searches, I decided to become a member of this club: IWC owners club.
Now, I have my eyes on a GST alarm 3537 titanium and there are 2-3 available at the moment.
Unfortunately some are on sale on sites like ebay and do not know how to check if they are genuine or not.
As you already know, these are valuable watches and I am sure there are some that are not coming from your factory.
To cut a long story short, how can I check if it is genuine or not?
If I get any close up pictures, what should I look for.
Please forgive my obvious ignorance, but I am willing to learn.
Thank you.

Hi Minica,
These points have been useful to me, when I buy pre-owned. Hope they help.
Some guiding points (not exhaustive) when determining whether the watch you are considering is real or fake:
Are you able to trust the person who sold you the watch ? Where and when did he get the watch from ? The basic rule here is ‘Buy the Seller, Not Just The Watch’.
Compare watch dial, and watch case back, with those of a watch you know will be real, perhaps at an authorized dealer, or at a boutique. If physical examination is not possible, try comparing pictures of your watch, with pictures taken of the real watch – such as those displayed by IWC enthusiasts at the official IWC forum www.iwc.com/forum.
Measure the dial of the watch and weigh your watch, and then obtain the official measurements & specifications from the IWC Workbooks. The workbooks for older models can be found here: www.weeber.biz/IWC/Workbook/search.html while data for the newer models can be obtained from an IWC authorized dealer or boutique.
Try setting the watch to make sure it runs properly through the correct use of the crown and buttons, such as adjusting the hour and minute hands; slow adjusting the date; quick adjusting the date; check if the hacking seconds-hand stop when the crown is pulled out.
If an IWC service center is nearby, bring it there to have the watch authenticated.
If you are in the process of buying a watch that you suspect may be a fake, but wish to proceed anyway, paying by paypal or by major credit cards may allow you some avenues and procedures for disputing the transaction and getting your money back.
Hello
Thank you for your wise advise. It does make perfect sense. I just got very excited about this mint 3537 at a very decent price. It will probably be better to wait for something near London and/or from a reputable dealer.
Thank you again.
Regards
Minica
