    Hi folks:

I've been wanting to get a steel bracelet for my  327004 Just a couple of questions:

    (1) Can the steel bracelets be sourced from IWC AD? (I am based in Auckland , New Zealand)

    (2) Are the new Mark XX bracelets a lot better than the Mark 18? (one option is to sell the Mark18 and buy the XX with bracelet instead)- but I do like the older version for having ETA based movement.

    Thanks

    Alan

for shure the AD can order the bracelets, the idea of changing into the Mark XX is something I would do

Yes, IWC ADs can order steel bracelets. The Mark XX bracelet is an improvement over the Mark 18, but if you prefer the ETA movement, keeping the Mark 18 is reasonable.

Most ADs can order a steel bracelet for your IWC if it’s officially in IWC’s parts catalog, but availability in Auckland might vary — call your local dealer to confirm stock and pricing.

The Mark XX bracelet is generally regarded as an improvement over the Mark XVIII’s (better finishing and fit), so if the bracelet is important it’s worth comparing directly, though the ETA movement in the Mark XVIII is a valid personal preference.
