Which do you prefer and why?

Difficult to choose, the blue dial is so nice...
If you mean by black /white the one with the white dial, then...
The black white could be a future classic, maybe not that popular now, but there is something special about this watch, hard to describe.
So you can't go wrong with the blue or the black/white one. -
ApprenticeA fact that is mostly overlooked is the difference with the hands. With the black or white model, the hands are matt black.
However, the LPP version has silver/polished hands which actually make the hands pop a lot more in my opinion.I own the latter and couldn't be happier with it.

MasterI chose the blue dial version, that dial is just a bit more special, and it combines well with thr brown strap, that is a bit more lively than the black one. No regrets until now.

I have a black dial Mark XVI that is one of my favorite daily watches - the dial is very legible and clean. That being said, every time I visit the IWC boutique, my eye is drawn to the LPP edition pilots watches (both the chrono and the big pilot). Hard to go wrong with either choice.
