IWC Mark XVI wall clock
I read here somewhere, or maybe the German forum, that there is a follow-up model, the Mark XVI: that is without the 9, and 3, 6. It looks quite nice. Whether it is still available I don't know.
Kind regards,

iwc mk xv wall clock...
As fas as I know this is not an official IWC clock.

iwc mk xv wall clock...
I agree with Stefan.
The bezel is not the same as on the official Mark XV wall clock and also the hands are quite different. The back side of the officia clock has on the quartz movement : "ELAG quartz Swiss"
Adrian.
This is a "fake" iwc mk xv wall clock (nt)
Fake for sure, stay away if it is not too late (nt
100% Fake...The real one is SS and has a different
bezel. Plus, if you can find one it will be very expensive.
Cheers from Isobars.
The real Mk XV clock.................
...sorry for the poor quality of the photo. Quick shot from my iphone.

The real Mk XV clock.................
? They both say "automatic" so they are both fake. Also, what is the point? Neither clock houses a genuine IWC movement - it's all show anyway so whocares?
I disagree completely...>
The Mark XV clock is a speciality item IWC made for IWC Collectors in 2001. It is as finely made as possible and if you can find one today is selling for 10 x the original price. The clock is awesome and a worthy addition to an IWC Collectors collection.

Question is ...
Did you buy it considering it to be the real thing at the time?
If you thought it was real then you have bought a fake and within that you have possibly funded crimnal activity that may goes with it
If you bought it as a replica, and it was adveritsed as such, then that's fine as far as it goes i.e. you do not mind replicas.
Subtle difference is that Replicas do not set out to deceive as do fakes.
I cannot afford the real thing so I do not have one. And for me it has to be genuine or nothing at all. If there is a benefactor out there who would like to send me one out of sympathy then it would be gratefully received and cherished. (LOL)
just my two pennies worth
iwcforme
it wasn't comissioned for collectors...
The original was part of an order that IWC had placed for display materials, primarily for dealers. I forget the numbers, but the minimum order was something like 500. That was more than the dealers ordered, so IWC decided to offer the remaining ones to others in a "quiet" manner (it technically could not sell via the Internet). The same was true for the Ingenieur wall clock (there also was a protoype for the Portuguese, but it never made it into prodution --and if you had seen it you'd have been relieved).
I forget the pricing but I think they were around 500 CHF originally, or possiblyt a little more. They aren't selling now for ten times that.

Michael
Ingenieur wall clock ......
...from IWC.

An observation...
the "swiss made" on the Mark clock shown by SCF does not align like it does on the actual Mark watch (i.e. the 's' should be aligned with the 32 min. marker and the 'e' with the 28 min. marker). But I noticed on the the Ingenieur clock shown by SCF it is aligned the same as the watch (i.e. the 's' with the 33 min. marker and the 'e' with the 27 min. marker). For what it's worth.
and the real Mark XVI wall clock ...
... i got it as a gift last christmas from my wife.

I like this Mark XVI
The numbers are relatively bigger than with the Mark XV, which is possible because the 3, 6 and 9 are missing: it doesn't look so crowded. I might try to get one.

The strap is wrong too ;-) nt
Ingenieur wall clock ......
It's great!!!!!
