    Actually, it appears that this vintage IWC automatic watch was retailed by Cartier. It wasn't uncommon to have both the manufacturer's and retailer's signatures on the dial.

    an IWC of course!

    I think Ip've seen Cartier only once or twice on an IWC dial. From other brands it's more common I guess.
    Collectible dial.... now IWC is close related to Cartier!

    IWC or Cartier?

    I am both an IWC and Cartier customer (on behalf of my girlriend) so I find it very cute to see this combination. But for me its an IWC easily.

    Is it a Cal 85xx under the bonnet ? Any more details ?

    I believe its a cal. 853 from the early '60s (nt)
