IWC Re-Sale Value

Dear Conoisseurs,

How would you rate IWC in terms of re sale value when compared to brands such as AP, Rolex, Patek, etc...?

You mean how would we rate IWC's resale value?

Frankly, I don't think much of it. The fact is, I will probably take a very deep loss if I plan to sell any of mine (and I don't plan to do so).

Also, even the resale value for many of the AP's and Rolex's are not very good either... if you are selling anything other than a Royal Oak, Daytona/Deep Sea/Submariner, etc. (Try asking people about the resale value of the Cellini's).

While I understand why people care about resale value of a watch, the advices I will give are to think really hard before you buy. Buy the watch that you really like (not one that you think others will like, hence has a decent resale value). Keep it.
