I bought on a market an old IWC with on the case the Ref. 648A, I added some pictures of it.
I can't find any information about this watch. I only found some 648AD information.
Please guy's let me know if you have any more information for me.
the movement look like a cal. 853, and the case is a 36.5mm

This is what I found on the internet ; from a catalogue dated 1957 :
The dial is different, but for sure the ref 648 did exist.
And in the archives their was a post mentioning the ref 648 :

Just a small comment.
Generally:
Most watches with the 85x (movement there x is not empty so not the c.85)
exist in 2 versions Ref xxxA (automatic) and Ref xxxAD Automatic with date. The c.852 is with date c.8521 (c.853 becomes c.8531 with date...)
When you information on 648AD, the 648A is very close.
