IWC Vintage Catalog Project

Hi all -

I remember using the vintage catalog project earlier this year, but it seems the links are no longer active. Does anyone know if the site moved or if the pdfs are saved somewhere else? It is a tremendous resource. Thank you for your help!

However, this link only offers a minor part of the content of the "original" Vintage Catalogue project, and solely contain PW-related catalogues.

Well, all those supports are not for free, especially without advertising !!!

The costs for websites are expensive.

Why should the operator of those websites do it for free ?

The vintage interest has decreased and the effort makes no sense anymore.

I am not surprised that all those fantastic websites will be switched off.

How long till IWC realizes that the vintage watch enthusiast buys new models too! If just 1 colector loses his interest than it's 1 less customer. It should go the other way in my opinion...

@hebe - I think IWC's vintage interest is increasing and the demand for information about vintage pieces will follow.

I do hope the Weeber Workbook Search gets an update to work with today's computers. This was a fantastic resource that is sorely missed.

Interestingly, it seems, that the image files of the late Vintage Catalog Project are still there, only the pages pointing to those are gone. I have collected them to this list, so that they remain available. Not a great user experience, I admit, but I hope it helps.

Had some difficulties getting used to the new Forum platform, haven't figured out how to change my signature image, can't find that link in my profile. Tips appreciated.

Testing if photobucket links still works for me for regular posting by posting a page from a vintage catalogue ...

The new platform appears to still be in transition, the search function has now been missing for FIVE MONTHS! I'd be curious why it is taking so long to provide a professional experience.

To change your profile, here is my work around. Log onto the current site, click on this link to the French search function, on the top line click on Bonjour Telecaster (it will show your user name) and proceed with your changes.

You need to pay Photobucket to share your images, see this prior post.

I have a few catalogues on on my home page.

According to the latest news, the 'new and improved' forum will be available in early 2018 and the format will be greatly improved. We got to see some of the features in the last CM in Schaffhausen and I am sure you will like some of them.
I also do not understand why it is taking so long but, since I do not know and refuse to know anything about IT, other than on the user side, I refrain from commenting on the amount of time it is taking. I'll just reiterate that it is fact taking much too long.

Was annoyed and my interest level just falled down the drain since I couldn't post pic's. I'm in an overbusy period, and will be so for another 6 months.., and I don't really like Photobucket :-((

I might wait to post until the new platform is launched then...
