As you may recall, Luxist.com had a ppoll regarding the best watch line, and I asked members here to vote. You all did, early and often!

The net result is that IWC was awarded The Readers' Choice Award Winner for the Best Watch Line by the readers of Luxist.com.

Below is the link to the article, which includes a paragraph on IWC:
    www.luxist.com/2010/01/01/readers-choice-winners-for-best-in-accessories/

    The paragaph reads in part:

"The Readers' Choice Award Winner for the Best Watch Line is IWC. With a deep connection to functionally themed luxury sport watches, IWC rejects an approach to watch making that focuses on form over function. In recent years according to one poll, IWC, has risen to be considered the top luxury watch brand among wealthy Americans."

Aside from all the marketing hype, in my opinion IWC IS the best watch line.

Congratulations to IWC --and thanks for all you votes.

    Michael

    Kudos and well deserved.

The Company, the employees, the Forum members, and MF should be very proud of their accomplishments and recognition.

Good to hear that IWC won

I did miss the cookies part though but I think I understand what Richard explained.

This could easily have backfired too, besides the votes, there are the logfiles of the servers too and IP addresses for al visits are usually logged too...

    Kind regards,

    Clemens

    Well done, we, IWC

Maybe it did back fire, and did IWC win nonetheless. That would be an even bigger achievement, guessing the times at least I participated.

    Kind regards,
