I just got a great new Aquatimer Chronograph and want to know more about the movement. I understand that IWC buys kits from ETA/Valjoux but what do they change as they are assembling the movements in the IWC factory?
Any thoughts would be much appreciated.

Don't mean to burst your bubble, but, IWC doesn't assemble that movement anymore.. It comes pre-assembled (but made to IWC specifications) then fitted into the case etc.
Don't let that get you down though, it's a great movement.

I saw the 'fierce Galapagos creatures' video/promo on the facebook site - I don't think I saw it on the official IWC youtube channel. A fan may have obtained the one you're looking for a posted it on his own channel (if memory serves me correctly) but I don't think its in HD.
