Joined 2 Clubs this weekend

My wife surprised me for my 40th birthday with the 371702 Pilots. I am still in awe. It is my first IWC and love it. So I joined 2 clubs, The 40 year club and the IWC owners club :)

Happy Birthday and welcome to the IWC Club as well. You have now caught the IWC Uhren-virus for which there is no antidote. Congratulations.

Congrats on both fronts and welcome to the IWC club - I cant welcome you to the 40 club yet but I am sure others can :)

I well past 40, but the 371702 is one of my favorites. Congratulations.

Congratulations, I think it is a beautiful watch with lovely contrasts between brushed and polished steel on the casing along with a very clear face - it is clever the way the edge of the hands are polished so they reflect and become highly legible.

Have you had a look at the 'lume' on it yet?

Congratulations on both counts, RiesJJ! I also turned 40 this year (back in September), and thus far I've gotta tell ya, it ain't a whole lot different than 39. ;-)

Like you, I also wound up with an IWC Pilot's watch as a present, though unlike you, I had to use every trick in the book to sneak it past the missus and onto my wrist.

Take good care of that lady of yours, she's a keeper!
