Hi everyone, been always a lurker kind of member. Had always been fascinated by the Portuguese Automatic but never pulled the trigger as I had read several problems of that movement and that worried me slightly. A few years later, IWC updates their line and I got interested again!! But only this time they release one with an annual calendar complication and a gorgeous blue dial, coupled with numerous improvements in the movement! I had to get it!!
Personal Thoughts on the watch:
- It is of course quite a large watch but I wear Panerai's often so I am used to it I guess. I have thin wrists but the lugs are short and the curved straps really help to fit well. Despite the 15mm thickness, it is not all that heavy and is very comfortable to wear.
- The case and and finishing is just really amazing. The Blue dial just shimmers, just screams class. Looks killer with a suit and classy with jeans and a jacket.
- I love it!
