Just bought a Portuguese Automatic but.....

I just bought a Portuguese Automatic but noticed there is a small scratch on the front crystal near where the "2" is. The scratch is at most a quarter inch long. I have barely even worn the watch since I bought it and when I do wear it, I am very careful with it.

I have tried wiping off the dial with an eye glass cloth but the scratch won't go away.

I have to say I am disappointed and not sure what to do other than to contact the retailer tomorrow.

Unfortunately scratches happen. I notice even my starched shirts cause some small scuffs on polished surfaces. Anyway a crystal is an easy fix but a new one will also pick up scratches.
