I have been thinking to acquire a BP watch just after my first IWC purchase, which is a Portuguese Automatic 5001 near three years ago. My IWC wish list has been growing at an amazing pace. But, I know a BP will be in my collection sooner or later. As every forumer knows, BP is an ironic watch for IWC. There are many variations, 5002, transitional, father and son (I have a son so this is always on my mind). To convince myself which one to go for, takes some time. Moreover, 2012 is Pilot year; there are so many new BPs. Ceramic, Miramer, etc. Thanks to IWC Flagship boutique in HK, I had the chance to view most of the 2012 Pilot watch novelties. After the 2012 novelties viewing, I am very sure that no matter how many IWC watches or Pilot watches I will own, Stainless Steel BP 500401 will be in my collection.
Thanks to Shing and KS Low, they have given me a lot of buying tips and advice. Today, I was checking out a brand new 5004 behind the window of an AD in Tsim Sha Tsui area. Suddenly, I received an email from Shing. In his email, he actually mentioned he found a BP at an AD which I was checking. What a co-incidence? Does it hint something? I went into the store and came out with a nice box of BP 500401 on hand.
Please find the two photos I took after I arrived home. Sorry for the Blackberry quality photos.

I am very happy and love to share with you guys.
