and our good friends over a IWC HQ in Schaffhausen are very busy. I was on site on a Saturday morning recently and the place was quite active.

Although I will not be present at person at the SIHH this year I hope, in part, my spirit will be present. Wonder if my "fingers crossed for this and that will come true"

We have had lots of lovely creative discussions here over the last many months and soon perhaps we can anticipate hearing news first here about what a selected version of the SIHH novelties will be. MF - do you have an agenda for privileged information disclosures here?

One of the superb perks of being a member of the collectors community.

I know what I am hoping for.......what about you ?

    Andrew

The same as the last two years

I hope there will be a new Portuguese Chrono with the 89360 movement. 44 mm. Stunningly beautiful as a Portuguese should be. Maybe the hands of the Régulateur? Well, the classic hands are beautiful too. I hope it is a bit subdued, but also very present.

    Kind regards,
Paul, wearing the VC brother, the rose gold Portuguese

    Same wish... more or less>>>

My hope is to see a chrono portuguese with 89360 as well but 41 mm, like today, why change perfection?

Feuille hands for me, please. :-)

I'd like a Laureus Big Pilot. Know it will not be 2010 but I can hope for 2011

I know this is pie in the sky, but...

what I would really want is a Pallweber watch which incorporates the pocket watch concept for the wrist much like the Zeitwerk Lange which came out this year. But how about in stainless steel so it is reasonably priced? That would really be nice.

    I would like to see

    A new Grande Complication
The Ingenieur Mission Earth with a ceramic bezel
An Ingenieur Mission Earth Perpetual Calendar
An Ingenieur Mission Earth with an alarm function
A new Portuguese Automatic Chrono with an in house caliber and a case size increase
A Portuguese Traveller with major cities time
A Mark XVI with a larger case and also a ceramic one
And the family Andrew is hoping for too

    I believe there won't be a Laureus for 2010....

...and the Ref. 5001 model really is a 2009-2010 model, given itbbs late debut in 2009. There should be a 2011 Laureus edition, I believe. So let's hope --you do have a good idea.

    Regards,
    Michael

    Totally agree!

Portugiesers are dress watches, not sport watches.
