    The usual suspects were at it again and the KM IIKl. U-Boat Deck Watch project is now complete.
    As in the RN HS3 project link to the HS3 projecttook circa one year to complete, and involved two master carpenters, and four collectors in four cities in two continents.

    Well done, Tony. It's fascinating to see the casing for the Deck Watch.

    Next year's project should be to find a U boat to put under it.

    A U-Boat for the KM, a Heinkel 111 for the B-Uhr, a Vulcan for the Mark 11, and an Aircraft Carrier for the HS3. All are in my bucket list. Stay tuned. :-)

    Another project that was well done... I'm sure it won't be long before Tony comes up with another "Hirngespinnst" :-)
    His ideas are costing me my last hairs, but it's fun making it happen!

    It's great to see the finished product. Congratulations, and thanks for sharing the pics and report. The "usual suspects" and you are helping preserve important pieces of IWC history!

    Credit must given to whom deserves it. We had one false start although it lead us the right track but, without Jimmy, the correct box for the KM U-Boat Deck Watch could not have been made. Thanks Jimmy.
    BTW, may I recommend minoxidil? :=)

    Congrats, Antonio. Jimmy is the best 'truffle pig on 2 legs' when he gets the wind. :-)
    But your recommendation minoxidil=rogaine=> invain...thereas Jimmy is 60+ ;-)

    Besides...it might react with the strong blue rhombus shaped pills I take to relieve my headaches :-)

    As a matter of fact it will!
    Minoxidil was designed as a medicine to lower blood pressure but as a "side effect" it was noted that " hirsutism" could occur( excessive grow of hair).
    However, looking to Antonio's skull, I cannot immagine that this is the result of minoxidil, rather than his Portugese genes, making him a handsome man with a handsome watch.
    Adrian,
