Likelihood of IWC releasing additional watches using Mojave Desert's sand-colored ceramic?

I'd like to hear opinions from seasoned IWC collectors regarding the
likelihood of IWC releasing additional future pieces using the sand-colored
ceramic case found on the new Top Gun Mojave Desert chronograph. I adore the
look of the watch, but the size is too hefty for my wrist. If IWC is only
releasing 500 of the Mojave Desert chronos, could this be a "testing of the
waters" to gauge demand? Surely it will sell out. They did this with the Top
Gun Miramar and I was happy to pick up the XVIII Miramar as the chronograph
was too big. I'd love it if they released a non-chrono version with a beige
ceramic case in 39mm or 40mm.

    What do you all think?

The last time IWC introduced a ceramic watch in a new color it was the Pilot
Chronograph Edition Saint-Exupery 'The Last Flight,' which utilized brown
silicon nitride ceramic. There have been no other watches from IWC using this
    material/color.

Ben - Thank you for that info. I was not familiar with that obscure reference.
That could be a good analogy for the Mojave Desert, but I'm still holding out
    hope.
