Hi, I recently came across this lovely vintage IWC that I believe to be a Calibre 89. I have no idea if the dial is redone or what period this is from but I can't seem to find any information about this. I would be curious to know what others think especially whether the dial is original (i.e. not redialed) and what period this would be from. Also does a price of USD 2000 seem fair and is this a 36mm?

This is most likely a 50's Watch. Looked through my catalogues from that period and found a number of similar style versions, now, those are animated not photographed and it's difficult to say if any those are of exactly the same ref. If it's not too early the ref number may be found on the inside of the caseback.
I'm not the man to say if the dial is original or if it's a re-dial, however, looks almost too good for its age.
For a steel cal 89 I would say $2000 is on the higher side.
