Look what the Easter Bunny brought

    When this watch was announced, I was actually already in love with it... but
    then the Monopusher Le Petit Prince came out, and I had to decide between two
    beauties. Well, I got the Petit Prince of course, and now, the Spitfire Pilot
    in Titanium has joined as well. It is not.due to a special event - it is just
    to celebrate life.

    Despite the fact that I own so many IWC watches, it iis my first titanium
    watch, so I have a question probably one of you can answer: Which grade does
    the titanium have?

    Congrats, a beautiful edition of the Big Pilot.

    I know that IWC uses titanium grade 5 for the new ingenieurs, not sure if
    this is tge case of yours.

    Congratulations on a really nice pilot, my favorite of the BP43s. Indeed,
    grade 5 titanium it is, according to information on IWC's website; "The Big
    Pilot 's Watch 43 Spitfire     (Ref. IW329701) features a case, case back and
    crown made from lightweight and robust grade 5 titanium. The dark grey matte
    colour results from an elaborate surface treatment in which the components are
    first polished and then sandblasted".
