    Hi All,

Is anyone else having difficulties with languages on the site? I have mine set to english (top right of the site) but for some reason I am getting a lot of what looks like German content -

    Cheers,

    Hi Ben,

Ich habe da gar kein Problem.

Oops, what's that? My message just got translated in German!

Just kidding of course, I have the English site here just as I expected.

    Kind regards,

    Clemens

PS: what's funny though is that the Forum mentions your post to be dated 'Tomorrow'. I have seen that more often just after midnight.

I'm glad it isn't just me. The forum posts have been fine but yesterday the article teasers were in Italian.

The title you chose for this thread is one of my favorite movies.

Stuck in English, thank heavens...but I was bumped out of the forum and had to set a new password which included letters numbers and punctuation and now that I have set it I can not remember what it was.

Same here... seems to have something to do with the location of your IP address maybe. I constantly get the Arabic as I am in the UAE. I always need to type in the /en address to get English.

    Hi,
same here (Schaffhausen downtown :-) )I get a mix of English, which is set and sometimes ( mostly in the evenings, strange enough )Italian and German plus a redirection to the US site. Nothing that really disturbs me, to be honest I like these "excursions". Had to set a new password as well.
    Have a great weekend everyone

Have had the same problem myself ( but Italian) in the past but it is fine now.

And what is the idea of forcing a password change an making it secure, it is a forum not a banking site.

I've also had the problem sporadically, usually with article intros being in German or Italian.

Shane -as I've explained on two other discussions, there have been some potential threats to the IWC site, which have been prevented but it was decided to tighten all security. We can't have members' info exposed and the site can't have denial of service attacks or worms that get into IWC systems. Sorry for the password inconvenience, but better safe than sorry.

I am in Michigan, USA and was required to choose a new password. It was very frustrating as it took multiple tries because it would not recognize my old password to let me reset a new password. Not very nice words were spoken to the web-site. What was that all about?????
