The 2016 watch for the BFI London Film Festival is just gorgeous but I still keep thinking of last year's 8-day Portuguiser (a recent aquisition reveal on the forum here didn't help).

Ben, thanks for sharing. This is quite an interesting edition of the 3878 and the most important detail for me is the single date window. Obviously the CF III edition delivered some good inspiration here. Are there any insights if the watch also features the soft iron cage of the CF III?

I deeply agree with you on last years 5102 BFI.

Being said revealer, I am admittedly tempted to place a call on this one too.

That´s a really nice Spitfire version. Love the blue details.
... and I´d thought that the CF3 will the only one with a single date window ;-)
Although I think the new ETA based Spitfire versions make the 3878 less attractive ... what do you think?

    Best,
    -c

I would take this 3878 above the new 3777 anytime: it looks much better, and it has the more interesting movement.

    Kind regards,
    Paul
