Well done IWC. It is not always that...

advertising is classy, entertaining, accurate, and educational too boot. Well done indeed.
Looking forward to a follow up on aviation celestial navigation at the launch of the next Pilot's Watch, a field where IWC has a rich history with legendary time keeping machines - the Luftwaffe B-Uhr, and the RAF Mark 11.
And I can only hope it be a true Pilot's Watch, and with a 24 hour dial version. ,-) for the proud "geeks" among us.

    Very nice indeed

I learned a thing or two about navigation. Apart from the watches there was one thing I really liked: that two Portuguese people came to IWC and ordered a watch, with some specifications. Imagine you going to Schaffhausen now and trying just that. I am not sure you would succeed, and that old story has some charm because of this, a more or less naïve time that must have been when compared to the cut throat bussiness times of nowadays. However, it is kind of new to me that those two Portuguese had sea navigation purposes in mind, I always thought they just wanted an accurate wrist watch that could be delivered by using a pocket watch movement. But I don't mind, the watches are lovely. I only would have liked to see an elegant 44 mm 89360 chrono, which however doesn't take anything away from the Yacht Club.

    Kind regards,
Paul, wearing rose gold VC Portuguese, how I would love to see this watch transformed into a 89360 chrono
