A bit out of my direction unfortunately :-(

Too bad but I won't be able to make it.. Amsterdam was fun and at only 50 km not a problem but Schaffhausen is a 12 hour drive :-(

    Kind regards,

    Clemens

The Scots in Switzerland....? (non Euro 2008)

I have good flexibility ........but of course only the timing is the crucial element,
I will be in Schaffhausen on 18.06.2008 in the late afternoon. Does this match ?
I dont have time for the tour but to meet up briefly - it would be my pleasure.

Other dates - I am 1.5 hours away so with enough "warning" or "planning" I can meet up.

    On tours....

In general the ones that are open to the public are only once a month in English, and sometimes they're already fully booked. You can check on this website (go to "specials" on the link below).

However, if you're really an active forum member and want a tour, e-mail me and I'll try to exercise some clout. Sometimes that even works :

Also, you might want to search the archives for reports on the 2007 Collectors Meeting. They'll give you some idea on things to do in the area.

    Regards,
    Michael
P.S. I'd be delighted to meet you for lunch, but I'm not sure when I'll be in Switzerland next. I was planning yesterday to stop by during the first week of July, but today those plans were cancelled.

    I wish I knew

...there's a new person in charge of consumer communications, and I don't have any ideas of her plans yet.

I would guess that there won't be an event in 2008.

    Regards,
    Michael

A nice idea, but sadly I am not very flexible>>

during the week. Feel free to drop me a line if you need any tips for the area- I may be able to manage something on an evening, but daytime is quite difficult.
