sorry for being new here and jumping in. been reading about the history of Mark XI watches and am really interested in getting one.

Was lucky with my google search and chanced upon a German seller offering this but no prompt reply from them yet. Anyone happens to know if this is authentic?

    Many thanks in advance!

The IWC Mark 11 is an iconic watch and is highly collectible. Much has been said about the Mk11 in this forum.
This is one appears to have been polished to shine like a tin can, but appears to be authentic.

Yup, that's what I thought too. About the polish I mean. Didn't expect a 40-50 year old watch to look this good. I've been recommended a RAAF one without the broad arrow. Would it be a more worthwhile buy? Looks maybe a little less shiny. hah
