I recently bought a Mark XV Ref 3253 and am wondering what band/bracelet options are available for this model. Can anyone shed light on to what the original options were and where I may be able to get them now?

    Thanks!

Found this old photo on my server.

It shows the two bracelet variants and the leather strap, also two variants with 18 mm and 20 mm buckle.

Thank you, IWC was also great about letting me know that they are still available in case anyone has the same question.

I bought the IWC Mark XV Ref 3253 (IW325312) off eBay (I took a risk because returns were accepted). Would love to hear people's opinion's on authenticity. I haven't been able to find any IWC sponsored pictures of the watch, but have been comparing to internet pictures of sales with paperwork and sites like Chrono24.

Here is what I purchased: www.ebay.com/itm/172440594413?_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT

Here is a link from chrono24 to compare to: www.chrono24.com/iwc/pilot-3253-mark-xv-automatic-date-die-fliegeruhr-black-dial-with-deployment--id4076990.htm

It has been hard to find reliable authentic photos of this model within the Mark XV as it seems it was less popular. Any and all help is appreciated. I will of course remove the back and look at the movement as well upon arrival.

    Thanks,
    Justin

    Hello guys,
New member here. Found this post just in time, hopefully you guys can help me with a couple of questions I've had regarding my new 3253-002 mine looks exactly like the ones in the photo by Hebe, does reference 3253-002 have the three half indeces above the words Swiss Made (sides of 6oclock marker)like the ones in the pictures? I have seen ones with a T under the third half indices and also some that only have two half indices. If I am not making any sense please let me know. I will try to load some photos when I get to my computer. Thanks in advance!

    and all three:

my question is, does the 3253-002 correct with 3 half indices above swiss made?

Thanks for the pictures Maconto, my logic is that's a (factory) service redial so no longer with Tritium (T) but Super Luminova. Minor details like 'half indices' seem to slip the attention of IWCs designers or suppliers, but for many vintage models there are all kinds of dial variations for such reasons.

It's a great watch you have and a true IWC icon, wear it in good health!

    Bob,
Thanks for the info! I absolutely love the watch. It is my first IWC. Dial variations can get very confusing. Mine came with box and papers but when looking online for 3253-002 I found the variations I mentioned. What you have adviced makes total sense. Thanks again.
