Hi, would anyone please have any wristshots of the Mark XVI on a bracelet? Until now I've preferred the sort of balance that a black strap gives to the watch, but then bracelets have a shimmering beauty of their own and I'm starting to wonder whether it wouldn't be more practical..

    Thanks, J.

More practical = bracelet, no dude...

And is incredible beautiful (not pix but I’ve seen and tried in real watch) but straps are so good looking because the color match with the dial. Is a hard choice that implies money (bracelet in IWC is considerably more expensive) and taste preferences.

Both are great no way to make a wrong decision.

    Good Luck !

Mark XV and 3717 here. I had

several Mark XV's - all on bracelet. My 3717 is always on bracelet.

I find bracelets more wearable in all climates and I like the contrast of the black and white dial with the silver of the bracelet.

Possibly searching the archived posts will help

There's been a lot of coverage of this model here over the years. Here's one image of a white dial Mark XV with bracelet.

    Wrist shot of 3717

It's not the same as the Mark XVI but maybe the impression is a little bit similar.

    Mark XVI bracelet

Thanks very much to all for the replies and shots. I should have made it clear that I'd done an archive search but not found much in the way specifically of Mark XVI (rather than Mark XV although the effect is similar) on bracelet shots. The 3717 does look great on a bracelet, but in the past I've felt that somehow the bracelet suits the Pilot Chrono more than it does the 3225.

It's a tough one - I'm worried that if I buy the bracelet I might go off it again, and it's too costly an item to be experimenting with! The strap is holding up ok so far, only the keepers and a few places on the underside are really showing wear, so maybe I'll wait until it's time to replace the strap before making a decision.

    Thanks again to all.

Fliegers and straps were made for each other >

Personally, I would stay with a nice strap of buffalo or rubber.
