Mark XVI in Gold ?

Browsing thru some information to update my website i found this picture:

It seems that the reference number is 3255-15, but i dont find any information about this watch.

Does anyone know more about a Mark XVI in Gold?

I have never seen this before. Are you sure it was not some Prototype that never made it to market?

I've never seen that or heard of one. It's a very handsome watch, however. (And I hear my checkbook whimpering in the corner.)
