    Hi forum friends,

Spring is coming, so I decided to put my Mk XVII 'Le Petit Prince' back on the steel bracelet. Man, do I like this watch!

Looks great Bob. Bracelet looks excellent. Never seen one of these in the flesh.

Hi Jarrod, great to 'see' you here ;-)

The bracelet is excellent and has the micro-adjustment! I got inspired by our forum friend Dénes who did this first. The Mk XVII LPP does not have a real sunburst dial and the blue is really really dark, almost black! In clear sunlight it turns blue though.

    Best regards,

    B

You did well, Bob. That watch really deserves the bracelet. Here's one picture from this past Christmas:

That looks like a perfect switch for warm weather, Bob. The blue dial is a nice contrast to the steel.

I really like that look, Bob. Of course, I like almost every picture you post. You have great taste.

I wish there were an IWC bracelet for this one. I've been trying to get by with this feeble aftermarket attempt.

C'mon IWC. How hard could it be? And with all the BP's out there, I bet there would be plenty of demand.

Great combination, Bob, and I just love the star on the seconds hand - I wish they had done that with the big pilot edition also! I do agree with Dick - there really should be a bracelet available for the big pilot, there would be plenty of demand.

You're too kind Dick, and I'm not a total purist so agree on the BP steel bracelet idea!

Bob, looks good - no doubt about it.

I've still got mine on the leather strap, still loving the watch and in fact am currently wearing it.

Might have to try this bracelet idea now though!

I have just had to throw several smart double cuff shirts away as my pilot (3717) bracelet has eaten them. It has to be strap for winter and bracelet for summer (shirt sleeve order)or else too many new shirts.

Hi Kamal, just go to any IWC Dealer and have them look-up the Mark XVII steel bracelet.

    Kind regards,

    Bob
