I recently purchased a Mark XVII, but it actually run really fast. After 3 days of owning it, it is 3 hours ahead. Has anyone ever seen this happen?

It can happen, an unusual event, but it's easy to fix. Take it to your AD or a reliable watchmaker for an adjustment. Gaining three hours I three days is not normal.

Obviously, you should immediately take it back for a substitute watch. There is a major problem here.

Of course this is not normal or acceptable. I would go to the AD and let him check out what is happening. I must say, the AD should have checked the watch before giving it to you. It is a temporary setback, but it should be OK in a while, the 30110 movement is both robust and accurate, it should be a steady companion for a long, long time.

    Kind regards,
    Paul

Thank you guys for your input, but the funny thing is that I didn't buy it from an AD, it was actually from a boutique in a different country while I was on a business trip. Now I don't know what I can do.

You can take your IWC to any authorized AD or Boutique. They will take care of sending an under warranty IWC to a service center. The watch need not go back to the place you originally bought it.
