I bought an IWC Mark XVIII back in May 2016 (with steel bracelet), right after it became available. Purchased it from a local AD in Northern California.

After about six months of having worn the watch, in rotation with other watches, I'm seeing a bunch of scratches on the anti-reflective (AR) coating on the crystal. This seems to be a flaw with the Mark XVIII, or at least my piece. I own three other IWCs, a few Omegas, etc., that are a few years old, that have double-sided AR, and the AR on those watches is flawless. The Mark XVIII isn't being subjected to any greater wear-and-tear, and it's downright discouraging that the AR coating would be failing after only six months.

Anyone else experienced this? And does anyone know if this is the kind of thing that would be covered under warranty (or are they going to baselessly claim it was my fault)?
