Nicely done Michael and IWC. The video appeared on FB today as well.

When I posted the link via the link icon, the post was bounced back for review. Cut and paste this link to see it. I apologize if this post now appears more than once.

'the movement is the heart and soul of a mechanical watch... mechanical watches are powered by a spring. the spring moves the balance wheel and the balance wheel in turn transfer its impulses to an escapement. The escapement measures the beat. It is the wonder of that work, that movement that make a mechanical watch..."

'...when many people look at a watch, they look at the dial... a pretty face is what interests them. and there is nothing wrong with that. Watches can be beautiful, but they are also beautiful inside. The beauty of a watch is the fact that it is a work of craft and artisanship."

great stuff Michael, and thanks for sharing Bill.

The first I've seen it is today. I think it came out pretty well, even if I look like a rumpled professor ;)

Thanks --I traveled to New York so it could be filmed in the Boutique. The words were mine; this wasn't scripted.

The video is really entertaining, it tranfers expertness but passion also, within a jaunty atmosphere.

    I really liked it.

You did a superb job, Michael! I also sent it to some friends that shake their heads when I start burbling about my "automatic" IWC's. I think you provided a very succinct educational seminar. Thanks to Bill for providing the link!

Thanks, all I won't be in future episodes, but there will be an all star cast, including Kurt Klaus.

In one day on Facebook, there were over 4000 "likes" and almost 300 "shares". No other watch company can make that statement ;)
