Today, I received the Milanese mesh bracelet for my 3565 that I ordered two months ago. It is so beautiful in person and photos just don't do it justice.

I've read in past posts that some thought of the bracelet as being too feminine. While it isn't the fashion for men these days, I really like it because most people don't have that bracelet type.

    Your thoughts?

for me, the wide lugs and even width of the bracelet impose a strong masculine look.

    Hello TLANDO,

In my opinion, the Milanese mesh bracelet, though not my cup of tea because the Portofino range is too fragile for me, is beautiful and it is a perfect match to the Portofino. I don't see anything feminine in it. Please post some pictures though...

    Tom,

I see your point about the Portofino being a bit fragile. But i like the classic look and the Portuguese models are a bit out of my price range.

The next watch will probably be the Mark XVII or Pilot's Chrono. I need something more sporty for the weekends.

Although I have once bought the German/Swiss delicacy of "Currywurst" from a lady in Schaffhausen wearing the watch at the right in Shing's picture, I do not think it looks particularly feminine.

    Dear Sinclair:

What is "fragile" about the Portofino watches?

    Thanks,

    Donald

    Hi Todd and Donald,

nothing is fragile on the Portofino at all, I should have made myself clear,
they are too fragile for ME i.e. too small for my wrist and I prefer the
Ingenieur Mission Earth type and weight due to my daily activities, nothing is wrong with the Portofino watches!!!

Forgive my ignorance - where (online) would I order the milanese mesh bracelet for a Portuguese 3714?

Online extras like bracelets and straps are available from authorised dealers which are there to see at the top of this page by clicking Retail and Service. I know of no online ordering service for such items.
