    Hi All

My 2 month old MK XVI runs 3 to 4 seconds fast every 24 hours.

Is this right? Can anything be done? If so, who is best to do this? IWC head office?

    Thanks

    Paul

Mk XVI TImekeeping is perfect. Paul we are dealing

with a mechanical instrument here, not a Cesium timepiece. With all respect you need to relax and enjoy your watch.

    Cheers from Isobars.

I bought my IWC's for their beauty..

    not their timekeeping.

3 to 4 seconds a day is nothing.

While it is nice to get really accurate...

timekeeping, 3 or 4 seconds a day is good performance. I would be happy with that.

Three to four seconds for a mechanical watch...

is great. Is three to four second during a period of 86 400 seconds (one day) going to have that much of an impact on your day to day routine?
If so, one could buy an old davinci quartz or mechaquartz.

Thanks to all for their advice. I just thought that I would get the brains as well as the looks ;-)

Best wishes (I really do love the watch. Better than my Explorer 1)

Three to four seconds for a mechanical watch...

I think that three or four seconds per day is good precision. Infact it enters in the tollerance of COSC certificate.
