Hi all!! I just purchased my first IWC watch from a gentleman in Europe, after looking at them for years. It is a model 3724. I have not received it yet (expected delivery Jan 20) and was wondering if these were ever sold in the US? All of the watches of this model that I have seen for sale were being sold outside the US. Thanks in advance! I am truly excited to wear this beautiful, incredibly well-crafted watch!

Welcome to the forum Gregory and congrats on your new watch. The Portofino ref 3724 was only sold for a limited period of time. I have no idea if these were ever sold in the US. I suspect they were also sold in the US, but in very limited numbers I guess. Good luck with the watch, wear it in good health.

Thanks for your prompt reply. I will continue my research on the history and distribution of this watch and let you know what I find.
