Hi IWC enthusiasts,
I am new to the IWC watches and wonder if there is someone at the forum who could help me. I am keen on purchasing a manual winding watch model 545405 that according to the sellet is from year 2010. THe provided a number 3189960 that seems to refer to the case number and another number C.98295 which could be the movement number. The date your IWC page says the case number is probably from 2006 (was manufactured between 2006 - 08) but the movement number is from year 1893!
Can anybody here advice what should a correct movement number look like for the model 545405 watch? Should I be wary of purchasing a replica? Some replica adds had this movement number C.98295 mentioned...
I'd be grateful for any help.
