I went to the Geneva boutique today to get a Santoni strap for my newest acquisition (more on that in a separate post after I have time for photos). Unfortunately, they didn't have in stock the one I needed. Of course, when one is in the happiest place on Earth, there are plenty of toys to look at.

I really like the look of the black dial Yacht Club but have always assumed that it's too big for me. Tried one on today - the jury is still out on size but it's a really perfect sporty watch. In addition, Mauro was excited to show me a new LE Portuguese Hand-Wound in rose gold. Beautiful watch and the movement is captivating. The third piece is, of course, the brown dial VC Inge. Some nice hardware on that tray.

Oh, one more -- the only Ali in Europe.

It was your wrist shots that put me over the edge on the Yacht Club, Kevin. It's now on my list. A list that only seems to get longer...

Shing - is there any current IWC reference for which you don't have a wrist shot? :)

Beautiful watches David! Thanks for sharing them here with us. The handwound Portuguese is a beauty but if it's the same size as the ref. 5454 it's too big for my wrist.

The Portuguese Yacht Club is a beauty too. I would be afraid to wear it while sailing though, there is too much of a chance to knock into somethink like the mast or a winch or something like that..

    Kind regards,

    Clemens

    David,

WOW !! Those pic's look very tasty.

OK...I'll have a platter of mixed sushi, a tray of the IWC's and a large side of Santoni's.

    My kind of meal,

    Andy

I would think that there are watches in boutiques that have spent more time on Shing's wrists than the watches he owns!

    Shing,

That's only because there's a "mandatory" wait time for the VC-AT. David..Kevin.....Right? LOL

Hey Shing, didn't you mention just a little while ago that you were considering a 3231 ? If that IWC warehouse you go to everyday has one, grab it, give us a shot, then take it home and enjoy.

You need one. You want one,

    Andy

I agree with Andy - Shing, you need to fill this hole in your collection.
