The second batch of pictures from my camera at SIHH.
I would endorse what Alan has said elsewhere on the new Pilot’s range. They are significantly bigger and that will please some and disappoint others. The Miramar models are an acquired taste. The new doppels are huge compared to my humble 3713. The ceramic Big Pilots will sell well. The undoubted star is the red gold digital perpetual calendar but it is expensive: more expensive than the equivalent Da Vinci. I do think with case inflation, IWC should develop larger date wheels to give the illusion that movement fills the case. Other manufactures seem to do this. Overall, I think the Pilots’ range will be a huge commercial success for IWC.
It was a privilege to see and hold the Sidereal Portuguese. You simply have to see it to believe it.
Thank you to MF, Oliver and the rest of IWC for their generous hospitality and for creating this wonderful opportunity to meet old friends and create new friendships.

The end!
… not quite. Posting this is proving to be difficult. There is a power cut at Geneva airport. I hope it’s nothing to do with the hadron collider and Higg’s boson.
