I visited my AD this morning for a number of reasons...
1: to try on the BP
2: to try on the Big Ingy (in steel)
3: to buy a deployment clasp for my Port Chrono
I did all three and just happened to meet the IWC UK representative who was visiting the AD.
I was introduced and we had a very inetersting chat (especially about the Regulateur Tourbillon. He has also promised to look into getting me a "special" number for my Platinum Vintage case.
The photo above (terrible picture from my iPhone) is of part of the movement used for the date in the Grande Complication (and I believe in the Per Calendar).
He just happened to have it in his briefcase? and was telling me that both watches wouldn't be able to be programmed for 400 odd years without this piece, so I though you all might like to see it.
