Not a new model, but a long term seeking for a full SL set in perfect shape and this model is a value keeper.

And it is very similar to an OCEAN, even the bezels are exchangable.

Many components are identical and early ATs were equipped with late OCEAN movements.

This is a later SL production and has already a current rhodium plated movement.

Thank you both.

Well, currently I am exchanging the AT time by time to this OCEAN.

It has a huge power reserve and so it is easy to handle after a break time :-)

Congrats to your 2018 newly acquisition! Love the 3536 & the Ocean 2000! Agree with Mark, the photo of interchanged bezel on both watches are really cool. We learn something new everyday! I traded my near mint 3536 Ti for my Ocean Bund 3509 a year ago, would love to buy back a good condition Aquatimer 3536 in the future! Wear this great watch in the strong health & all the best!

First of all, congrats, Heiko. A great new acquisition for you.
I also learned about the late Ocean movements being put into early AT/GST's- one of the great things about our Forum.

Many thanks to all for your congrats and interest.

@ Nelson: I also learned about the late Ocean movements being put into early AT/GST's.

Nothing important Nelson, just a tiny hint about the movement history of this first modern AT.

Well,  just two OCEAN references - 3314 and 3319 - have quartz movements.

The shown 3H is a ref. 3319.

So, the battery lifetime is about two years.

All other OCEAN models have automatic movements.

BTW, even the orig. OCEAN case opener tool fits perfect:
