My First IWC Collectors Meeting 2018 in Schaffhausen

Exactly a week ago I was traveling from Cologne to Schaffhausen, for my first
ever collectors meeting. Well to be honest, it has exceeded all my
expectations. Beginning from the awesome tour at the new Manufakturzentrum,
the presentations we have seen, the behind the scenes at Zurich airport and of
course the discussions with all the other collectors.

But the top of the cake, was for sure the dinner with the Homberger family in
their private home!!! This will be definately an evening I will never forget,
and I am still happy that Mr. Homberger was lucky enough to shoot our dinner
in time ;)

Even though I was the youngest or Baby as Terry called me ;) I felt like home
with a lot of new friends!

Thanks IWC for the great event and hospitality, Tonny for an amazing
organization and the Homberger Family to open their private door for us
collectors.

Starting with the tour

After the tour, we went back to the HQ for some presentations and trying some
watches! Here three of my favorites...

In the evening I signed up for the Watchmaking Master Class, as I always have
missed this opportunity

The highlight of the evening and maybe of the complete two days, the dinner
with the Homberger family

The next day we started early for the behind the scense at Zurich Airport

Lunch we had at Runway 34, a great location at Zurich Airport

After Lunch we went back for our last presentation and closing of the two day
event.

Again thanks for everyone involved, it was trully something I will never
forget.

Brilliant report and photographs, Patrick. You are now officially infected
with the Super IWC Uhren Virus. You need booster shots once a year in SH or
Geneva to avoid withdrawal.

Great read of that awesome experience! Wish I could have made it.... but
hopefully next year, so you are not the "baby" anymore ;)

Very good report Patrick, and it was a privilige to meet you. Fully agree

Fantastic report and images!

Looks like a fantastic time, one day I hope to be able to attend the
collectors meeting.

They are special events and this looked like a good one. Nice pics/report.

The middle picture of the 3 watches is that the minute repeater?? Or the 8th
day power reserve hand wonding.
