Fantastic Andrew :o)
this is a beautiful addition to your collection, difficult to find and full of charm.
Starting at the top, eh?
Great one to add.
Nelson
Indeed very rare to find, I am looking for this one for some time, so officialy jealous now
Congratulations, Andrew!
... but you should think about investing in another bracelet ;-)
Best,
-Christian
... btw. I´m not much into pocket watches, but this one suits my taste ...
Congrats again.

Hey Andrew, congratulations!
Is it the one from the shop in Hammerstrasse?
That disappeared last week. ;-)
Congrats Andrew on that rare find.
The best storage woulds be this :-)

Heiko

Congratulations, Andrew! What a perfect "first."
Indeed Heiko that Fish crown on the watch does make me wish to test it out in water.
Yes Tilo. I looked at it on my way home a few times over the last months....so needed to do something about it.
Fantastic pickup Andrew, and as Nelson says "starting from the top"....
Now, know that Heiko knows a thing or two about vintage watches and has the ability to service his own pieces - so as for that great "Water Shot", the advise for you is simple..." Don't try this at home" even if your watch has a fish crown :-)
Don't try this at home" even if your watch has a fish crown :-)
Well Mark, for a curious guy like me, is it a must try :-)
But before I tried it, I have checked some physical basics:
The condition of the seals.
It must be possible to loosen the case back !
(To be sure that incoming water can be get out as fast as possible)
When these basics are ok, the rest risk ist very low.
So, I am waiting for Andrews under water photos :-)
Regards
Heiko
I don't have an underwater camera ;-)
